Alaska Silver Salmon Fishing for July 19th, 2007
We fished the Lil Susitna River in the Matanuska Valley today. We did extremely well considering the clear low water conditions we had. Our morning trip, produced 8 Alaska Silver Salmon, averaging to be 10 lbs. or more. Our afternoon trip, produced 7 Alaska Silver Salmon. These afternoon fish were really BIG MALES!! They were averaging to be at least 12-14 lbs.!!! These fish were fresh from the ocean, they were as chrome bright as a fresh clean bumper on your truck!! Not only did we get some fish, today, we also saw some Alaska Brown Bear, Alaska Bull Moose, mink, numerous beavers, mallards, and the ALL MIGHTY ALASKAN AMERICAN BALD EAGLE!!!!

There you have it, Thursday's Report for Alaska Salmon Fishing, with Capt. Ray @ Fisherman's Choice Charters! <>< <>< <><
