Driving Directions from Anchorage to the Little Susitna Public Access at Burma Landing

Exit Anchorage north on the Glenn Highway. Travel approximately 35 miles where you will come to the junction of the Glenn and George Parks Highway. Go straight over the new overpass and it will take you into Wasilla, headed for Denali and Fairbanks. Do not take any exits.

When you get into the town of Wasilla, at the set of lights past the CARRS Shopping Center, take a left onto North Main Street which turns into Knik-Goosebay Road. You will cross a set of railroad tracks and pass the 3 Rivers Tackle Shop on your right.

Travel 17.2 miles on Knik Goosebay Road.

You will see a big green sign on the right hand side that says Susitna Flats. Here you will take a right onto Point McKenzie Road and go 7 miles where you will come a “T” in the road.

At the "T" you take a right. A couple hundred yards later the road bears to the left. Follow for approximately 2 miles to the "Y".

Take a right at the "Y" and follow it in for about 2 miles. It will take you right into the park. Go through the check-in station and drive straight down to the boat access. Ask for Fisherman's Choice Charters.

Be sure to call the evening prior to your trip to confirm point and time of departure. (907-892-8707)

*You will need to bring along your fishing license, (and King Salmon Stamp when fishing before July 14th) and whatever you would like to bring along for lunch or snack. We will provide the rest!
